Our message regarding the March 11th disaster
First, we would like to extend our sincere appreciation for the sympathy and words of encouragement that we have received from people all over the world after the March 11th disaster.
<Signs of Restoration>
Japan still faces many problems and difficulties caused by the earthquakes and the tsunami. However, individuals, local communities, and companies in the affected areas are now working hard toward full restoration and showing progress day by day.
Although many may believe that safety in eastern Japan may still be compromised due to the ongoing problems at the power plant, Tokyo, where our headquarters is located, has now regained its composure and is safe. Many of the professional sports such as football (soccer) and baseball have also resumed their matches.
<What we can do as Soei; the role of the Kyoto Office>
Even under difficult circumstances, Soei is an IP law firm that is always able to support our clients, ready to assist them in obtaining valuable intellectual property rights and exploring possibilities for further expanding their rights. We are fully equipped with the ability, energy and passion needed for the role.
Also, one of our strengths is our Kyoto Office that is located in eastern Japan, a region that suffered no damage at all from the disaster. In Kyoto Office, also, we have a trusted team working cooperatively with the staff at our Tokyo headquarters that is also passionate about protecting IP rights and providing quality IP services suitable to our clients.
As concern about the safety in the Tokyo area grew after the disaster, our Kyoto Office started to receive an increasing number of visitors. Our team at the Kyoto Office is always pleased to welcome you if you stop by.
And of course, our Tokyo headquarters is also looking forward to seeing you.
Once again, we thank all of you for your kind support. Japan is a beautiful, strong country and will certainly overcome the difficulties in the near future.
