THE ORIGIN OF OUR NAME "SOEI"
In Japanese, the "SO" of "SOEI" is written  and means "creating something new."
The "EI" of "SOEI" is written  and means "excellence."
Our goal in establishing SOEI was to create a new patent firm
that would excel in meeting the
challenges of the 21st century.
The name "SOEI" will continue as long as this firm continues,
regardless of change in its president or partners.

THE ORIGIN OF OUR MARK
The social responsibility of a patent firm is to foster and nurture
intellectual property rights.
The intellectual property rights handled by with our firm can
roughly be separated into three
categories: patent rights to new technology, design patents for
new product designs, and
trademarks to represent the reputation of businesses.
