In Japanese, the "SO" of "SOEI" is written
and means "creating something new."
The "EI" of "SOEI" is written
and means "excellence."
Our goal in establishing SOEI was to create a new patent firm that would excel in meeting the
challenges of the 21st century.
The name "SOEI" will continue as long as this firm continues, regardless of change in its president or partners.
