Mr. Kimoto received his B.S. (1995) and M.S. (1997) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Tokyo. He then worked as a research assistant in neuroscience at the same university for three years.
He qualified as a patent attorney in 2002 and joined SOEI in 2003.
He has been handling prosecutions in the fields of organic and polymer materials, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry, bioinformatics, enzymology, fermentation, food technology, gene engineering, genomics, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, natural products and proteomics.
He enjoys snowboarding and loves The Canyons, Utah.
