635 Candidates Passed the Patent Attorney Examination
Patent attorneys are licensed to file patent, design and trademark applications before the Japan Patent Office on behalf of their clients. Those who wish to become a patent attorney must pass the Patent Attorney Examination, which is held once a year. Of approximately 10,000 candidates, 635 passed this year.
Most of the candidates work full-time in a company or research institute, and study for the examination after work or on the weekends. The average age of the candidates is about 37.
We are pleased to congratulate the two candidates from Soei who successfully passed the examination this year.
