A New Club Starts

At Soei, there are several official club activities including Soei Snow Club (a ski and snowboard club), FOOT SALSA (a futsal club) and Soei Baseball Club.
There are also non-official clubs organized by like-minded members. One such club started at the Kyoto Office. It’s called Kyoto Ramen Club, a social club where we talk passionately about ramen.
For our first session, five of us went to a ramen shop which Mr. Y, one of the members, had found. As if to symbolize the first commemorative session, we had ramen with the whole place to ourselves! I will leave it to your imagination as to why there were no other customers…
After enjoying the ramen, we had some drinks. Sounds like the other way round compared to the standard Japanese practice of a-bowl-of-ramen-after-drinks, but this is the way our club works.
And thus, a bond is created among members of the club.
