We can now visit and pray at Kiyomizu Temple over the internet.
It’s called air worshipping.
You can experience the walk up to the entrance, buying a ticket, the view from Kiyomizu-no-Butai (the stage of Kiyomizu), and the worshipping all while watching your screen.
In order to make you feel as if you’ve actually walked up the hill to the Temple, it even tells you to do some squats to place a similar physical demand on your body.
It looks serious but also has a sense of humor, and it’s good fun!
