This is a photo of Kyoto taken this morning. Last weekend, it was very cold and the city was covered in snow in the morning. There isn’t as much snow as last year, but the roads are icy making it difficult to walk and everyone’s driving very slowly. I was quite amazed with the scooter in the photo riding in this road condition.

I walked very carefully and managed to get to the office safely without slipping or tripping. I guess in situations that are different and more dangerous compared to usual, we try to be extra careful and manage not to fall over or hurt ourselves.
In a similar manner, with intellectual property assignments, the more difficult the work, the more we tend to pay attention so that we can finish the work with no mistakes in many cases.

In contrast, there may be more risk involved with work that we are used to. It’s easy to get careless or get too confident which makes us miss tiny details that lead to mistakes…

I need to concentrate so that this doesn’t happen.
