This is a photograph of onigiri (rice balls), which sometimes appear at our office.
A member and mother figure of the office takes the time in the busy morning hours to make them and brings them for us.

Lovely Ohmi-rice, is prepared in the latest rice cooker with konbu (kelp), tarako (cod roe), etc. mixed in and pressed into shape with affection. And they are just delicious! (Although it’s hard to see in the photo, these onigiri have been cooked with konbu stock giving them a slightly green color.)
They’re the source of energy for the staff at the Kyoto Office.
