The baseball and J-League football season has started at last.

Due to earthquake, many sports events were cancelled or postponed.
In the Kanto area, no night games are being held at the moment because of power shortage.
The world of sports has been affected in many ways.

But there must be many people looking forward to watching baseball or football games in the devastated areas.
For example, watching the players of Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles or Vegalta Sendai doing their best might cheer up a lot of them.

Also, I am sure there are a lot of sumo fans among the older generation that make up the majority of the population in the area.
Unfortunately, although the May Tournament has started, NHK has decided not to broadcast it because the bout-fixing problem has not been solved yet.
I hope that they clear things up soon so that the July Tournament will be aired.
