At Soei’s Kyoto Office, we now print documents by holding our own individual IC cards over the printer. This system was introduced to the Tokyo Head Office quite a while ago but since there were not many staff here in Kyoto, we hadn’t taken it up until recently.

Now we can avoid getting our documents mixed up with others.

But when we print out a lot of pages, we have to wait in front of the printer. There can be many pages in patent specifications, and we also need to print out drawings, etc for designs.

That’s when I look up and gaze at the mountains through the windows. It gives my eyes a nice break (at least I like to think so!).

Or, I can even do some stretches while I wait.

And then I get back and concentrate on working again.
