Beer Garden -Japanese Style-
As midsummer approaches, the temperature in Tokyo climbs to 30℃ almost every day. We always suffer from the intense heat, but the heat makes drinking beer so enjoyable! Drinking beer in a beer garden(especially after work)may be one of the best things in summer.
We would like to introduce a Japanese Beer Garden style. The location of beer gardens may vary between countries, but a typical Japanese beer garden is located on top of a building; often, on top of a department store!
We went to a beer garden called "Nihonbashi" on top of the long-established department store, "Mitsukoshi." We enjoyed draft beers and fine cuisine in a comfortable breeze. Everyone had a great time.
Also, last week we visited another one called "Kudan Kaikan beer garden." This is on top of a hotel, Kudan Kaikan. Although it was Thursday, the tables were full around at 7 p.m.!
