One of the Japanese summer traditions is, "HANABI(fireworks)".
"HANA" means "flower,"and "BI" means "fire."
As you can imagine from this name, you can see round and colorful HANABI,
like flowers are blooming in the night sky.
Although fireworks festivals are held in countries all over the world,
they might not be a summer feature like in Japan.
When Japanese hear "HANABI," summer images come to our mind.
On July 25, as a SOEI's special seasonal event,
we rented "YAKATABUNE" to see Sumidagawa Fireworks Festival.
YAKATABUNE is a kind of a passenger boat. We could see the fireworks from our YAKATABUNE on the river.
